Eileen Rapsey: The Farmer & The Florist.

The seeds for Hedgerow Flower Company were planted in earliest childhood on my family's organic farm in Scotland.

My mother’s incredible flower gardens and the wild beauty surrounding them, deeply influence how I design. Following in the organic farming tradition of my family, I grow all the flowers for my designs with help from family and friends at Hedgerow in Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia.

On my journey to become a wedding florist, I have been fortunate to learn from two wonderful British designers,  The Garden Gate Flower Company (Harper's BAZAAR Top 10 Wedding Florists 2017) and Green and Gorgeous both of whom were featured on The Telegraph's 2016 list of Britain's 20 Most Creative Florists. More recently I have taken courses from the world class floral artist Susan McLeary.
